Cæcilie Tagmose is a vibrant and playful piano soloist and chamber musician.
She shows an exceptional love and flair for varying the colors of sound and always has a playful approach to the rhythmic elements of the music.
Her profile as a classical pianist is extensive and her curiosity to explore new musical constellations keeps pointing her in new directions, constantly delving deeper into music through inspiring collaborations.

Cæcilie is currently based in Copenhagen, performing all over Denmark and abroad.
Cæcilie is co-founder and artistic director of Musikforeningen UTZON (UTZON Music Society) based in architect Jørn Utzon’s unique church in Bagsværd, DK.

Cæcilie Tagmose, born in 1987, is a classical pianist. She obtained her diploma from The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen and undertook further studies in Berlin. Teachers that have profoundly influenced Cæcilie include Jens Elvekjær (Trio con Brio), Niklas Sivelöv, Martin Lysholm Jepsen and Laurent Boullet.


She has taken part in masterclasses with world-renowned pianists such as Boris Berman, Malcolm Bilson, Andrzej Jasinski, Kevin Kenner, Eugen Indjic and Yonty Solomon.


Cæcilie has won prizes in several piano competitions including the Music Without Limits competition in Lithuania and The Danish Steinway Festival 2006, at which she was awarded the first prize. She has received grants from the Betty and Valdemar van Hauen Foundation, The Toyota Foundation and The Augustinus Foundation ao.


Cæcilie has given concerts of chamber music as well as solo-repertoire in both the Nordic countries and in China. She is currently based in Copenhagen, performing all over Denmark and abroad.

 

Cæcilie is co-founder and artistic director of Musikforeningen UTZON (UTZON Music Society) based in architect Jørn Utzon’s unique church in Bagsværd, Denmark.

Cæcilie Tagmose er er en efterspurgt klaversolist og kammermusiker.

 

Hun er født i 1987 og uddannet fra Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium hos Jens Elvekjær og Niklas Sivelöv, på Klaverskolen Gradus i Århus hos Martin Lysholm Jepsen og i Berlin hos Laurent Boullet.

Hun har desuden deltaget i adskillige masterclasses med verdenspianister som Boris Berman, Malcolm Bilson, Andrzej Jasinski, Kevin Kenner, Eugen Indjic og Yonty Solomon.


Cæcilie har vundet priser ved flere talentkonkurrencer, heriblandt Music Without Limits i Litauen og 1. pris ved Den Danske Steinway Festival i 2006. Hun har modtaget legater fra blandt andre Betty og Valdemar van Hauens Fond, Toyota-Fonden og Augustinus Fonden.


Cæcilie har medvirket ved talrige koncerter med såvel kammermusik som solorepertoire i både Norden og i Kina. Hun har i øjeblikket base i København, hvorfra hun giver koncerter i hele Danmark og i udlandet.

 

Cæcilie er medstifter og kunstnerisk leder af Musikforeningen UTZON, der har hjemsted i Jørn Utzons enestående kirkerum i Bagsværd.
